Delete Windows Recovery Partition

  1. Open an elevated Command Prompt
  2. Type “diskpart” and press Enter
  3. Type “list disk” and press Enter. The list of physical drives will be displayed.
  4. Type “select disk #” where # is the number of the disk you want to work with. Press Enter.
  5. Type “list partition” and press Enter. The list of available partitions on the selected disk will be displayed.
  6. Type “select partition #” where # is the number of the recovery partition you want to delete. Press Enter.
  7. Type “delete partition override” and press Enter. The partition is now deleted.
